I am teaching High School World Geography at the homeschool co-op this year. I was looking at the roster and noticed that these people were born when I was IN COLLEGE. It just doesn't seem possible that I am old enough to be the parent of a high school student. My own kids are only in 3rd and 1st grades. In my mind, it wasn't that long ago that I was in college. Thanks for the nostalgic post.Frances Clementshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15477255521646203102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2041509706154090534.post-84834224262526602382010-08-23T12:12:23.660-05:002010-08-23T12:12:23.660-05:00Gregg, thanks for the encouragement. And nothing personal, brother, but from the sound of it you might want to ask for a guest writer spot at The Old Geezer Blog! :)

Just kidding, I'm right on your heels!Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17620657390402998257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2041509706154090534.post-80812154121879250102010-08-23T10:08:58.966-05:002010-08-23T10:08:58.966-05:00Dude, it doesn't get easier. The youngest is now 30 and making some bad choices that is not consistent with what she learned growing up at home, it is hard when you realize they are adults making their own decisions.

I have a grandaughter that will start high school this September. Where did yesterday go? I took her mother to school on her first day, and now her daughter is staring high school? Yikes. Maybe I should have some of those figues you find on the cost of living at some nursing homes. I just felt old age arrive.Gregg Metcalfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16413691313803396844noreply@blogger.com
