"Intelligent design" is insufficient, because the truth is "In the beginning God" plain and simple. If that offends, I'm sorry, but it's true. My job is not primarily to argue theories of origins, it's to present the truth of the Gospel, which Jesus was never afraid to proclaim boldly, whether it offended or not. At one point, His teaching was so offensive that all but the twelve walked away (John 6).

My point in this post, however, was simply that the evolution and humanist folks are every bit as "preachy" as they condemn Christians for. The media and entertainment folks have been shoving it down our throats for years, ridiculing any who dare disagree. It's time for Christians to stop being so timid and letting others set the agenda. Stand up for truth and speak it boldly!Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17620657390402998257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2041509706154090534.post-40546865784078221792011-10-10T11:16:46.525-05:002011-10-10T11:16:46.525-05:00Just a thought, that "preachiness" comes...Just a thought, that "preachiness" comes from the approach. You want people to receive what you are saying, learn from Jesus. Apart from Pharisees and casting out demons, Jesus was neither harsh nor rash with people. Have you considered that "Christianity" and all of its faults (in the people who have taken it to an unhealthy extreme) automatically turns people off? Have you thought of merely presenting "Intelligent Design" and using the LAW of Entropy to disprove the THEORY of Evolution? You'd be surprised how many more open doors you'd have if you learn how to approach people properly...Jeremy Powershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15724273840348241457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2041509706154090534.post-59770533421924214842011-08-06T08:28:58.899-05:002011-08-06T08:28:58.899-05:00Meghan,

However, I do appreciate some of the other stuff, and did like very much your recent post on the creation/evolution debate. You hit that one dead on.
