Speaking of Right to Life endorsements, the Missouri Right To Life organization has issued a public endorsement of Mike Huckabee. Their statement says, among other things:
Among Governor Huckabee's achievements as Lt. Governor and Governor in Arkansas are the following:
*Passage of the Arkansas Unborn Child Amendment
*Partial Birth Abortion Ban
*Parental Notification law
*Informed Consent (abortion) law
*Unborn Child Pain Awareness law
*Safe Harbor law
*Unborn Victims of Violence law
In addition, Governor Huckabee was the second governor in the country to sign into law a true ban on Human Cloning, outlawing the creation and destruction of living human embryos for research.
Still no word from the National Right To Life group. I'm still hoping that with their candidate dropping out, they will back the man they should have to begin with.

Yeah, but...
Did you grab Dave Plemmon's (MRL's PAC chairman) comment of why they waited so long? It was along the lines of "we had to consider the polling and data before we endorsed".
It's sad when pro-life organization's won't follow their convictions...but follow the polls. Thankfully, grassroot citizens led MRL instead of the other way around.
BTW, Huckabee's in Jeff City tomorrow. Are you going north?
I did hear that comment, but at least they're still in front of the Nat'l group. And there are several other state RtL groups that are backing Huck.
I read that he would be in Jeff City, but unless they rush that economic stimulus package a whole lot quicker, the gas money just isn't in the budget right now.
Email me sometime and give me an update on your situation, Rod.
