Charles Spurgeon once said: "The man who never reads will never be read; he who never quotes will never be quoted. He who will not use the thoughts of other men’s brains, proves that he has no brains of his own. "
So in an attempt to show that I have brains, I want to simply quote someone who in turn is just quoting from the aforementioned Charles Spurgeon. (Funny how things come full circle like that).
Anyway, I thought this post by Tony Reinke was a very good one on the issue of the uselessness of preaching apart from Christ. Some good reminders for all of us. Enjoy.

Well brother, I will make a deal with you - I will quote you if you quote me then we can say we are "eminently quoted" so and so's.
Great quote and great sermon by Spurgeon. I would love to take a trip one day to the Tab.
Gregg,
Tell you what, if I ever say anything worth repeating, I'll be sure and pass it along!
And I agree; I would love to take a trip to London and see the Spurgeon sites. I'm afraid it wouldn't be good, though, since I already border on idol worship as it is. I might get overwhelmed being that close to greatness!
Thank you so much for the message on forgiveness. God demands us to "forgive" others. Forgiveness is probably one of the hardest things for a Christian too do, but if we want to stay in fellowship with the Lord we must forgive those who do us wrong. God bless, Lloyd
